Short Term Mission Trips by Christians To Peru

This site is dedicated to the men and women of La Union, Cotahuasi Peru, when in June of 2001; they met a Christian Mission Team to Cotahuasi Valley, Peru. God unquestionably guided this team to this people group.

When this Mission Team departed LAX the plane had to do an emergency turn around due to smoke in the cabin. With faith the teams boarded right back on another plane and took off. In Arequipa, Peru, an 8.1 earthquake lasting almost two minutes delayed the trip two days. Again, with faith the teams boarded back on the buses and headed to Cotahuasi, over 12 hours away at altitudes of excess of 15,000 feet, while all along tremors still shaking around them.

Arriving in Cotahuasi, now 2 days behind schedule, the Christian mission teams pushed their pack animals and themselves to the maximum to spread the word of God. All teams accomplished, not their plans, but God's plan. God truly revealed Himself to all.

The two churches that partnered with us to put on the August 2002 "Concert in the Ring" are San Martine and Mira Flores out of Lima. They are very instrumental in the organizing, production, implementation and the success of the past and future mini "Harvest Crusades" in La Union Providence.

Marcio Ruiz, our guide. We want to extend a very special thanks to Marcio Ruiz for his dedication as our guide for the La Union, Cotahuasi Valley and the surrounding highland villages. He's a valuable asset for all the Peru mission trips. He not only knows every square inch of La Union Providence, he also knows everyone in it.
